day who knows

Well, I received a bit of bad/good news this week. I am being sent back to the Gulf Breeze Library starting March 19th. You see, I originally worked there when I started with the library system in November 2010. So I knew this day was coming but I didn't know it would be this soon. Part of me was hoping they could find a way to keep me in Milton so I wouldn't have to spend half my paycheck driving to my job in Gulf Breeze 5-6 days a week. Because I am being sent back, I will be upping my job search.

There are a couple at UWF that I'm thinking about applying for even though I don't quite have the experience they are looking for. But I'm a fast learner and a hard worker. Plus I could go back to school on 80% of UWF's dime. So it's definitely worth looking in to.

I would LOVE to keep working for the library system. I absolutely love my job and you don't find that very often. It just doesn't pay enough. I mean, I'm still living at home with my parents if that tells you anything. I enjoy working with the people at the Gulf Breeze Library so it's not like I'm being sent back to some horrible place. I mainly just don't like the drive.

The Milton Library Friends group that volunteers in the library bookstore were practically picketing for me to stay, along with the wonderful staff I've gotten to know over the past 6 months. It will be hard at first but I know I'm being sent back for a reason. A God reason. Apparently He has bigger plans for me. I know this because if He wanted me in Milton, I would be staying in Milton. So there is going to be a lot of prayer and consideration on my part over the next who knows how long. I'll need some God direction on where I should go next...or maybe He'll ask me to stay right where I am.

Maybe I'll start a new blog after this 40 days is over. It will be about my job search. If God is leading me to a knew job.

Pray for me.

And if you are reading this and you would like me to pray for you, leave a comment. I'm always willing to throw one up to the big man upstairs.
