This is the part where I apologize once again for being a horrible blogger and not updating since...early March? I don't even know.
I've had a lot happen in the past couple of weeks. I am now back at the Gulf Breeze Library. I miss my Milton library people terribly but it feels at least a little good to be back. It is a lot more relaxed here and the customers are generally nicer.
During my last week at Milton, some old guy hit my car. I felt so bad for having to tell him it would cost $375 to fix my bumper ($250 to fix the crack and repaint the bumper, $125 to rent a car for three days while mine is in the shop). I don't think he had insurance because he didn't want to go through that. I also don't think he had $375 laying around. If I could have avoided getting it fixed, I would have. But the repair guy said my bumper would eventually crack more and the paint would peel off. I need this car to last at least another 3-6 years.
On to a new topic: I'm almost done with Not a Fan. It has been both fantastic and horrible. Horrible because I don't like my flaws as a Christian and follower of Christ to be pointed out to me. Through this book I've learned I'm more of a fan. I don't want to be a fan. So I've got a lot of work to do and questions to ask people who are true followers.
My next book will either be You are Already Amazing (An ebook I found through Barnes and Noble Daily Find for $3.99) or Forgotten God (to learn more about the Holy Spirit).
So I will see you when I see you!
